OUR HISTORY

Since 1973, KGPCo has built unique offerings of Supply Chain, Distribution, Integration Services, and Network Services including OSP, ISP and Network Cloud by understanding industry challenges and relying on the solid foundation of hard work and perseverance established by founders Kathleen and Dale Putrah. It’s this legacy that has established an unequaled Customer First philosophy for KGPCo - Products, Services, and Network Cloud.

1973

Founded

Great Lakes Telephone Supply, Inc. founded by Dale and Kathleen G. Putrah.

1982

KGP Telecommunications, Inc. was started by Kathleen G. Putrah as a women-owned business.

2001

Acquired Factory-installed Termination System facility from Tyco Electronics.

2002

Acquired integration division of TDB Communications, Inc.

2009

Acquired EMBARQ Logistics.

2012

Acquired TE Connectivity Professional Services and TriNet Communications. Created BlueStream Professional Services.

2014

Acquired Tempest DAS/ Small Cell Division.

2015

Acquired AFL L&I Division.

2016

Acquired CommScope ASI Field Services Division.

2017

KGP Logistics & Division are rebranded as KGPCo. Solution Innovation Center Launched.

2018

Equity Investments in ATS, a division of TTU. Acquired assets of Hutton Communications of Canada to form KGPCo Canada.

2022

KGPCo Partnership with Circet forms KGP Services.

2023

Divestment of KGP Services.

Today
